Arlington AANHPI Free Movie Night

Dear Arlington friends and neighbors,


To celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month there will be a free showing of “The Namesake” (rated PG-13), at the Robbins Library Community Room on May 21th at 6pm. The film is about American-born Gogol, the son of Indian immigrants, who wants to fit in among his fellow New Yorkers despite his family's unwillingness to let go of their traditional ways. “The Namesake” is based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize winner Jhumpa Lahiri.
