Dear Arlington friends and neighbors,

Lexington United Against Antisemitism (LUAA) is hosting an important event! Come join people of different faiths to turn our attention to what is sometimes referred to as humanity’s oldest hatred: hatred of Jews. We’ll think together about where we are in this long and often painful history as it unfolds day by day in homes, schools, and places of worship.

After helping ourselves to a buffet lunch, we’ll watch Christians and Antisemitism, a new 7-minute video produced by LUAA and featuring local clergy and Christian and Jewish laypeople. Following this quick but powerful presentation, we’ll hear from a panel that includes the video’s producer Steve VanEvera, people from different faith practices, and Jewish parents whose children have experienced antisemitism at local schools. Then in small multifaith groups, we will have facilitated dialogue about our perspectives and life experiences related to antisemitism.

Sunday, November 16

12:30 - 2:30 PM

Hancock United Church of Christ, 1912 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington

Registration is required, Lunch will provided.
